Barbara lives in McLean and is married to Warren Lewis, a nationally recognized Franchise Attorney. They have two daughters, Barbra and Diane. Diane is a partner at The Lewis Team. Barbara and Warren also adore their precious poodle, named Pepper.
Prior to turning her professional sights to a highly successful career in real estate, Barbara’s varied careers included serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines, teaching elementary school and publishing a community magazine.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PAST AND PRESENT
The family supports numerous community organizations. Barbara is also active in Welcome to Washington, Capital Speakers Club, The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, McLean Project for The Arts, Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce and Rotary.
Barbara is also passionate about her work on The Board of Trustees for Joe Gibbs’ Youth For Tomorrow. Youth For Tomorrow is a residential program for troubled teenagers that provides effective counseling, vigorous education programs, and a spiritual environment that empowers youths to transform their lives.
A sports enthusiast, Barbara has learned to like working out, plays tennis and is trying to learn golf, but only when the weather is in the 70’s. She and Warren like to dance. Warren enjoys ballroom dancing, while Barbara likes line dancing and wearing her cowgirl boots.
Barbara loves traveling, particularly to Southeast Asia. She also enjoys going to the theater and is an expert at making dinner reservations.
Debbie, as the Operations Manager, is responsible for providing clients with excellent service and personal attention, and for ensuring that each sale settles smoothly.
Originally from Michigan, Debbie relocated to Virginia in 2001 and now lives in the Westover area of Arlington. In addition to spending time with friends and family and exploring the sights and attractions of the D.C. area, she enjoys activities that express her creativity, including feng shui.
